ASSISTANT MERCHANDISER
Hiring a creative individual who can help plan and execute our store's appearance. You will implement merchandising strategies, collaborate with channel partners, and build customer relationships. Your responsibilities include monitoring stock movements, managing inventory levels, ensuring product displays are appealing to customers, and implementing promotional activities.
To be successful as a merchandiser, you should be up to date with merchandising trends, and produce sales through attractive product displays and promotions. You have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
Merchandiser Responsibilities:
- Work side by side with the merchandising manager
- Plan and develop merchandising strategies
- Analyze sales figures, market trends, and customer behavior to determine product needs
- Stock sales floor shelves and creating attractive product displays
- Determine and implement product promotions, price changes, markdowns, and clear outs
- Ensure staff is well informed on product details and promotions
- Maintain and track inventory
- Manage budgets
Merchandiser Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Previous experience in merchandising or retail preferred
- Available to work M-W-F 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Degree in business, marketing, retail or related field beneficial
- Strong organizational and decision making skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Valid driver's license

WHOLESALE SALES ASSISTANT
Looking for a self-starter and team player with the ability to travel. You are self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Proactively contact customers through outgoing calls and emails
- Actively sell and support new and existing retailers
- Utilize sales and inventory reports to identify opportunities
- Attend monthly marketing & sales meetings
- Organize and label new samples
- Follow up on pending orders and communicate shortages with buyer or representative
- Enter and file sales orders
Requirements:
- 1-3 years experience in a wholesale role, sales experience a plus
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize with a strong sense of urgency
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Working knowledge of retail math and analytical skills
- Willingness to travel up to six times a year
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
24-36 hours weekly
Must be open to working weekends

Responsibilities
Our Assistant Store Manager is a crucial and exciting role here at Mikarose! Our Assistant Store Manager runs our store hand-in-hand with the Store Manager. The following are the Assistant Store Manager responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the team
- Create an unparalleled guest experience
- Work a flexible schedule according to the needs of the business, including evenings, weekends and holidays. (The mall is closed on Sundays!)
- Improve metrics through sales floor leadership, development and execution of training programs, and continuous coaching on and off the sales floor
- Plan, delegate, and follow up on expected tasks, assignments, and activities to ensure expectations and objectives are met
- Demonstrate a love for fashion by keeping up with current clothing trends
- Understand and enforce all company policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner
- Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures including bank deposits and closing up the boutique
- Protect the physical assets of the store by conducting weekly audits, routine cycle counts, and an annual physical inventory

Store Associate (Part-time)
Work at our store in University Place Mall. Our store associates will greet customers, direct customers to products, provide excellent customer service and have knowledge of products on the floor. We are looking for seasonal employees as well as regular employees.
