Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and where your business is based.

A: Tonic is in the Canadian Praries! (www.tonic-life.com) this is our 11th year of being and we have spent the year expanding! We have doubled our downtown store to 6000 sq ft to include a mens section called Banjo (www.banjooutpost.com) we also added a new store accross the beautiful river in our city of Saskatoon in the Trendy Broadway area. our on-line store www.farminista.com will be up and running by the fall.

Q: What is your boutique? What kinds of items do you sell?

A: At tonic we focus on dresses! we want to women to have a great shopping experience and love dresses, so we try to have a huge variety of styles and cuts to flatter every body. we also sell shoes, accessories and other trendy stuff like tops, tunics, denim, shorts, basics etc.

Q: What do you enjoy most about running a boutique/business?

A: We love to help a stressed out customer find what they need and see them leave happy!!! It is a rewarding job! we have had girls come back to let us know the special dress they bought for a date ended up being proposal outfit and others nervous about a wedding or other special event feel confident that they looked special and unique. We try to keep memorable clothing in our boutique- so sometimes we see customers with a dress they bought 3 summers ago and they love it so much they save it in their closet all winter to wear again and again- timeless!
