Check out Fit For A Queen! They are a Boutique located in Tennessee that sells MIKAROSE! We would love to tell you more about them in our interview with the Boutique Owner!

Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and where your business is based.
A: Our store, Fit For A Queen, is in the East Brainerd area of Chattanooga, Tennessee. We are very close to the Georgia state line as well as not too far from the Alabama state line.
My husband and I operate the boutique together, we both moved from Orlando Florida in 2008 to pursue our dream of opening a small business. My husband worked at Walt Disney World for over 15 years in retail and customer service and I was a professional Chef for 20 years but also worked in sales and customer service areas. When I had to give up my chef career because I could not physically stand for more than two hours without severe pain in my feet due to fallen arches, I had to find another area I felt passionate about. As a chef I wore uniforms every day, not very glamorous, but I loved clothing and stylish thing since I was about twelve years old. I had many challenges getting clothing that fit me as I was a larger size than most girls as well as 5′ 8″ tall at that age. I think it was more a passion that grew out of necessity, I wanted to look pretty and dress similar to other girls, so I hunted down items of clothing that were unconventional that I could make an outfit from. I borrowed dress shirts from my Dad’s closet, cinching them with stretch belts I made from crocheting elastic cording.

Q: What is your boutique? What kinds of items do you sell?
A: The main focus of our store is Clothing from sizes 8-24+. We have a lot of dresses to take you from the office to a cocktail party, some formal gowns and Mother of the bride outfits. We do a lot of special orders from catalogs that offer dressy church wear to pageant type dresses. We also sell Art-To-Wear clothing which feature a lot of hand dyed garments and organic fabrics. Our separates feature bright colors and well-fitting jackets and tops. We do have some select shoes for summer, sandals and flip flops, a small mix of fashion jewelry, scarves, and handbags.
Q: What is the best way for people to look at your merchandise? Website? Etc?
A: The best way to see our selections is always going to be in person, our website features less than 10% of what we have in our location.

Q: What do you enjoy most about running a boutique/business?
A: It lets us run our business according to our principles and not someone else’s corporate idea. I love to help women feel fabulous about themselves because they feel beautiful in their clothes they buy from our boutique.
Q: What do you like about Mikarose Clothing?
A: Mikarose offers our customers modesty with still being very fashionable and comfortable, it has been working for customers tired of having to wear multiple layers of clothing because many of the necklines are way too low cut.
